Relocation to Shanghai was not at all easy for me. Neither did I personally know anything about Shanghai realty, nor did I knew anyone in Shanghai who could introduce me to various options of Shanghai accommodations. So, to get familiar with different apartments in Shanghai, I contacted a renowned Shanghai real estate agency. That particular Shanghai real estate agency ended all my worries related to Shanghai relocation.

My Shanghai real estate agent told me about various kinds of houses in Shanghai. He told me that if I preferred a quiet and peaceful accommodation, I must rent an old apartment in the former French Concession of Shanghai. Old Shanghai apartments are built around the theme of European architecture. Most of these apartments can be found along quiet tree-lined streets, located at popular areas such as Former French Concession Area of Changning, Xuhui, Jing'an and Luwan districts. As most of these old apartments are not equipped with modern amenities I could get one at a quite lower rent.

Another option was, New Apartments In Shanghai. New apartments are recently built to offer all modern amenities, suiting the Western style of living. Located at popular areas like Binjiang, Pudong, Xintiandi, Jing'an, and Hongqiao, such houses in Shanghai offer a host of services such as shopping centers, modern club facilities, gymnasium, swimming pool, sport facilities, restaurants and fast food joints and so on. The house rent in case of new Shanghai apartments varied from $1,000 to $10,000 per month.

Today, I am comfortably living in one of the new apartments in Shanghai. Thanks to the real estate agent who helped me get the comforts and convenience I was enjoying back home.
