If you are the person who start to practice music in ten years ago, you may find the most popular musical instrument was electronic organ. But today, it seems that electronic organ has become out of date any more. This is because, it can be said that electronic organ is the first development of electronic keyboard and when electronic keyboard has been developed until today they have very excellent function, grater look and a lot smaller than electronic organs that we used long time ago. Very good examples of electronic keyboards that have such excellent characteristic are Yamaha and Roland. However, even though keyboard has been developed so much during the years, but I personally think that electronic organs still has their own unique style. Apart from the new and modern look, which is very appeal to young and teenagers who want to start to practice, it can be said that electronic organs that are available in the market today can do everything that modern keyboards can do. On the other hand, some body has mentioned that electronic organs seem to provide more natural and live feeling than keyboard when you are playing.

What make they think like that probably because the different characteristics of both types of electronic organ and keyboard. That is, generally, electronic organ has bass pedals, which provide bass sound so this means you can have very perfect component of sounds. Meanwhile electronic keyboard is rarely have bass pedal, its bass sound generate by electronic mechanism inside the keyboard body. Therefore, even though keyboard can provide bass sound but the quality maybe much lower than the sound generated by electronic organ. Therefore, we can see that electronic organ generally more expensive than keyboard, and this is one of the most important reasons why people have turned to prefer to buy keyboard rather than buy an electronic organ.

Now the next question has been raised that abut if electronic organ is becoming extinct, what those shops and manufacturers should do to recover electronic organ market to survive. It seems that this question still unanswered. Because when we carefully look at the market situation right now, even though organ has more advantage than electronic keyboard, but organ's the most disadvantage is the price. That is, you can buy several keyboard in the same price for just one electronic organ, this means that organ is a lot expensive than keyboard and it is quite reasonable enough for buyer to decide to have keyboard rather spend fortune for their first keyboard, especially for beginners who have very limited budget.
