Photography has played an important role in a person's life. Each milestone is revealed and recalled with sweet smiles when we see pictures attached to it.As compared before, taking pictures is expensive that only professional photographers are allowed to take. Today, most people are carrying cameras next to the cell phones plus an unlimited shot can be taken everywhere, anytime. There are many kinds of cameras now-a-days. Some were handy and can be easily kept, yet some were huge that most professional photographers prefer to use. This kind of camera is called SLR which stands for Single Lens Reflex. The SLR stands out because of the lens used in the camera that allows the photographer to change the lens on the camera for different shooting situations. Another nice feature about the SLR is that it comes with controls allowing the owner to change certain things in the photo before it is downloaded and printed. SLR cameras are also versatile in terms of how you capture images because these cameras have changeable lenses. This camera gave the photographer complete control over his image by changing exposure factors, lenses, or both. Even professional photographers made their living with these type cameras.Aside from versatility and speed, the best SLR cameras are also known to produce top-notch quality shots because of their large image sensors. If you use an SLR camera, what you see on your viewfinder or LCD screen is exactly what your lens also sees. This allows you to have better aim and focus when taking picturesA 35 mm SLR camera is probably the most popular type among people who are interested in taking more than just "snapshots". A 35 mm so-called "point-and-shoot" or an APS (Advanced Photo System) camera, and since it is bulky, getting a beautiful shot while on the run required skills to capture a ?perfect shot?. Shooting from a moving car or trying to capture a fleeting moment is easier when you don't have to focus and set the aperture and shutter speed manually, but this ease comes at a cost. A good 35mm SLR camera with a normal lens will probably focus to two and one half feet. Use an ISO setting of 100 or slower. Critical is the correct use of lighting. Remember to steady the camera when you press the shutter release. If you are shooting in any light other than bright direct sunlight, steady the camera by any means possible. Practice pressing the shutter release gently. Many people tend to jab at the button, which can shake the camera. Gradually increase the pressure on the shutter release until the picture is taken. You will want to use a shutter speed at least as fast as the focal length of the lens on your camera.Getting the best SLR camera is never a easy thing, due to the constantly changing technology. Look closely at your photographs and note what works and what doesn't. Let the camera be your teacher.
