The most important thing about radio and television is that unlike print media when you send in your press release if they want to promote your product or service they'll want to speak to you in the form of a telephone conversation, or may want you to appear on one of their programs the same day.
Because things happen very quickly in these mediums you must be prepared.
Have a designated spokesperson from your company prepare for the show.
Ask the show's producer for a list of questions you'll be asked so that you can plan your response, and consider how you'll respond to the interviewer if they ask questions you don't wish to answer.
