If you aren't able to obtain a magic kit, you can find easy kids magic tricks to perform using household items and goods. For example, if you are doing the Rubber Pencil Trick, you will only need a pencil.

You can make the pencil look rubbery if you hold it loosely near the tip and wobble it around. Kids love seeing these kinds of illusions.
