So you are getting ready to travel by car on a long trip. Not sure how to entertain the kids? Long trips as you know can be boring and or troublesome if you take young children with you. Young children can be really noisy and unruly when they become bored during these trips. The problem is that when children get too loud it can get hard to concentrate and keep your focus on the road. It is a much less expensive option, usually running anywhere between 80 to a few hundred dollars depending on what you get. If you have more than one kid watching the player, you might want to consider getting the type that has a duel TV screen so that you can put it where everyone can see them without the fighting. If your kids are different ages or always argue over what to watch, then going the route of purchasing separate units so that they can watch their own separate shows, might be a better option and still less expensive then actually having one installed in the vehicle. Some of the systems also allow for video game players to be attached for another option for entertainment in the car.

No matter which option that you choose, you definitely cannot go wrong in choosing a car video system. You will be glad that your kids now have something to do that is quiet. You will be surprised at how enjoyable your family trips and outings will become.
