If you want to what a tattoo machine or macchinette tatuaggi is and how it works then you have come to the right page. The majority of people think that tattoo machines are like sewing machines; hollow needles which move up and down but this in fact is not true. Any kit tatuaggi or tattoo kit includes one of these tattoo machines which you will get to know more about in this article.

In fact a macchinette tatuaggi is basically an electromagnet which is driven by an adjustable power supply. The tattoo artist first dips the needles into a tiny cap which is filled with ink or pigment from a squeeze bottle. There may be one needle for outlines or fine work and several needles bunched together for shading in a particular tattoo machine. The needles are soldered onto a bar which is then fastened to an electromagnet. Besides the macchinette tatuaggi, the kit tatuaggi comes with gloves, latex or non-latex as some people are allergic to latex, inks, disegni tattoo, tattoo needles and several other tattoo supplies.

When the power supply to the macchinette tatuaggi is switched on the needles coated with ink or pigment start vibrating up and down together thousands of times in a minute. As the needles prick the skin, the colored pigments get injected below the skin between the lower permanent layer and the surface layer which is constantly getting replaced by new skin cells as the old ones fall off. If you buy a kit tatuaggi it is sure to include one of these macchinette tatuaggi.

The tattooing method of putting the pigment at the correct depth is extremely important to the superiority of the tattoo. If the needles happen to pierce too deep, the pigment will get mixed with the body fluids making the color spread. Then again if the pigment is not pierced sufficiently deep the tattoo will fade and disappear too early as new skin comes up from the lower layers. So when you buy a kit tatuaggi make sure you know exactly how to use the macchinette tatuaggi.
