Gifts are an expression of people's feelings and there is no such thing as a bad time to give a gift. There are of course those special times that must be celebrated with gifts, but apart from them I believe we should give and receive gifts as often as we can, because there is nothing more exciting than receiving a gift.
Apart from those special days that everybody celebrates by giving gifts or receiving gifts, there are always going to be those special moments that should be made even more amazing with a simple gift. For example if you would just take your time and give a gift to your wife just because she looks so beautiful today, imagine the joy and happiness she would feel. She probably expect to receive gifts for her birthday or your anniversary, but to be given a gift all of a sudden and for no particular reason is something truly amazing that she will probably remember for the rest of her life.
When we offer a gift it should be more than because we have to do this or because this is the right thing to do. Gifts should be about celebrating the person who receives them and his/ her happiness upon receiving the gift should be one of our strongest motives for offering the gift in the first place. Imagine how happy you are when you receive a gift and then multiply that happiness by ten and this is the result of gifts given without a special occasion. It is amazing to be able to offer gifts and make somebody happy. Some say that they have no money to give gifts and instead of risking disappointing the person they want to give the gift to, choose not to offer it in the first place. I believe that most of the times it is not about the price, the material value of the gift, but the effect it has on the person receiving it.
Original gifts are even better if there is no special occasion involved. I guess it all depends on the person making the gift and the person receiving the gifts. However what we should all have in mind is that as long as you surprise a person, you make her/ him happy then this is truly the gift. Sometimes just being g able to show your feelings through gifts is the gift itself.
Make The World Go Round Instrumental
The world is a brighter, lighter, happier place thanks to balloons. A bunch of these bobbing decorations are guaranteed to be seen at everything from Bar Mitzvahs to birthday celebrations and have become the essential party item since the Aztecs first created them from cat's bowels. What else can be used to brighten up the dullest of spaces than a collection of perky, party friendly balloons! They're relatively cheap, they come in all different shapes, sizes and colours, and if you give one to a young child you're bound to get a gappy grin in return.
Balloons weren't always designed for fun and amusement in the early days though. The Aztecs' earliest balloon prototypes were carefully scoured, turned inside out, sewn with an airtight seal made from vegetable thread and used as sacrifices to the gods. This ingenious invention was also seen in a series of cave engravings found inside the ancient pyramid of Mikerinos. It would seem that balloons have been bouncing around for ages.
The popularity of balloons continued to develop over the centuries until just prior to the first world war when scientists discovered that these streamlined spectacles could be used to calculate ascension formulas for flying planes. Around this time hydrogen was the popular gas of choice due to its unrivalled lifting power, however in the 1920s, when the balloon began to be used for advertising purposes, hydrogen was replaced by helium due to its safer properties.
Synonymous with fun, festivities and merriment, the helium balloon soon became a must have item on parade floats and eye-catching window displays throughout the world. When Helen Warny released 50,000 helium-filled balloons decorated with her name in New York, she unwittingly started a balloon printing trend which would be copied across the globe. Helium balloons have remained popular accessories ever since, providing a burst of colourful decoration and resulting in high voiced shenanigans on many a drunken night. You know who you are!
Today's market is brimming with printed balloons designed to make a special occasion extra special. Getting married? Get the bride and groom's name etched in gold. Just had a baby? A cute little teddy bear balloon will look great in the nursery. Balloon printing has become extremely fashionable in the last few years thanks to advanced balloon printing techniques and sturdier materials. With such charming designs to choose from, catchy logos and increased longevity, the market for printing balloons is positively booming. Go to a party, fair, circus, sale, trade show or any other event that offers a relief from the monotonous grind of work and routine and you'll bump into a balloon.
Balloons have also become a main stream marketing vehicle with big brands using balloons to promote their products. They create colourful eye catching marketing material that incentivises people to identify with their brand and make a purchase. Balloon releases have become a single favourite in this area with many companies doing a balloon release to promote their brand.
So next time you bump into everyone's favourite lightweight companion, remember they won't let you down until they pop!
