This is the perfect time of year for a leather notepad. Graduates find them extremely handy when filling out job applications. Dads love them for important meetings and for those times when they are coaching soccer games. Moms can take them from the PTA meeting to the dance recital, and add their grocery list. These versatile leather note pads are available in a large variety of leathers and colors. Dilana makes soft nappa leather that is both durable and soft to the touch. Bosca has notepads in Italian leathers known as "old leather" because of the hand stained finish as well as tumbled leather known as correspondent. Vantaggio has very reasonably priced Italian stained leather. Tumi is well known for their soft as butter nappa leathers. Different models of pad covers are available plain or with zippered closings. The zippered models have more pockets available inside and are slightly bulkier. These inside pockets are handy for your pen, business cards, notes and assorted other items. These leather notepads make ideal and very appreciated corporate gifts. They can be monogrammed with individual initials, or with company names or logos. These pad covers fit inside briefcases and can easily be removed to take along to meetings or when seeing clients. They are always professional looking and useful. Remember that women are equally fond of these leather notepads. They find them very convenient to make lists and take notes whenever and wherever necessary. The array of leathers and colors available reflects their appeal to women. Jack Georges has models available in the ever- fashionable moc-croc leather. Lodis has cranberry and carmel colors as well as black cowhide edged with red piping. These colors and leathers match the ladies briefcases and leather goods which women are so fond of now. Although the 8 1/2" by 11" sized notepad is the most popular, they are also available in a size known as the "old" legal size which is 9" x 14". The junior pad size which is 6" x 8" is the perfect size to join your other travel accessories when planning a trip. It will fit comfortably in a purse and can be used to jot down all the pertinent information. It can also serve as a travel diary outlining your trip and keeping track of the many restaurants and sightseeing highlights.

Three ring binders are another feature available in some of these leather notepad models. They usually zipper closed and have additional pockets and features. They will still fit inside a briefcase and can be removed to take along to meetings or seminars. The binder allows you to add and remove papers and photos. There are also models that have calculators built inside. Salesmen or designers and contractors often use these models. Because of the ease of adding and removing photos or papers, they are always up-to-date. They may not be as extensive or "high-tech" as a laptop, but they easily fit inside your lightweight luggage and cannot be damaged when dropped or shaken. Also available are pad covers on the back of underarm briefcases. These are a handy combination that allows you to have your notes accessible while also keeping a briefcase. As you can see, there's a model ideal for all!
