When people have made hands they're relaxed. Chances are they'd shuffle on with a made hand. The fact that they've stopped shuffling their poker chips shows that they're nervous. They don't want you to call. In this situation, raise. I'm willing to bet they fold.

Flinging down the chips:

Watch carefully for this one. We are all familiar with the fun loving players who just toss the chips into the pot just to hear the exciting clink of the chips. There are others who neatly pile the chips. Now what if without warning you see these people throw caution to the wind and toss the chips into the pot instead of stacking them in their usual orderly manner. You know that something is up.

It is wise to take into account that poker is an intriguing game and is not always what you see. When you see a cautious player acting in a carefree manner they are more often than not just bluffing. Take advantage and raise your stakes. You will learn from this experience what this behavior really means.

These small tells are not what a person usually does. It is all about changes in player's habits. Observe your fellow players and see any sudden changes that will indicate that something is fishy. Raise your bets and get to the bottom of it.
