Speaking of the king Elvis Presley, he was my absolute idol at the age of eleven years old. I watched every movie, I bought every magazine and I fell asleep every night listening to Elvis croon on his Blue Hawaii live cassette tape (remember cassette recorders? That was high tech stuff back then). I was a full blown Elvis Presley fan.

By now you're probably wondering what Elvis has got to do with document freeze drying. And why am I ranting on about Elvis in an article on document freeze drying. But read on, folks. There is a connection, as you'll see.

I wore Elvis pajamas to bed; I wore Elvis blue jeans to school. And let me tell you in the late 1970's Elvis was no longer cool, so I pretty much sacrificed any hope at popularity by continuing with my obsession with my blue suede shoe wearing crooner.

And suddenly he was gone, dead, finished. My book collection became insane; I collected every newspaper clipping, every magazine, and every deck of Elvis cards they sold. Socks, underwear - you name it I had it.

My bedroom walls were one big collage dedicated to snoopy - just checking to see if you are still with me. Of course I really meant Elvis was all over my walls, silly people.

So anyway, to make a long story longer, I had quite a collection needless to say of Elvis pretty much everything. I left it with my mother when I moved out on my own later in life and she toted it around with her as she apartment hopped. Some years later I asked her about my collection realizing that is was probably of some value. And it was then she gave me the horrifying news, there had been a flood in the basement and everything got soaked. The more horrible fact is that she did not try to salvage it. I was haunted by that fact until document freeze drying came to the rescue.

Document freeze drying is a procedure that is nearly always effective and it can restore, revive and renew old or water damaged or fire damaged photographs, documents, microfiche and files, magazines and books. It is a procedure in which dampness is extracted by way of freezing the item and then causing sublimation, which is skipping the liquid form and causing a vaporized state. This is known to have extremely successful results.

I know this method of document freeze drying could save my collection so I searched for a document freeze drying specialist at once and got my wish - my collection is back to a mint condition. This process of document freeze drying can be costly due to its high tech nature and I paid a considerable amount of hard-earned bucks for it. That is something to consider before contacting a freeze drying expert. They do not come cheaply but they can offer something that no one else can, a piece of your past returned to you.
