Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, was once known only for its Pearls and minars. But today Hyderabad is the most happening city in India. The development of the city is due the number of IT companies that have recently started in Hyderabad. Companies like IBM, Accenture, Wipro, Satyam and many other big names both IT and non-IT have started their operations in the city.

Recently, a comparative study of large Asian cities was undertaken based on eight different parameters i.e. public health, pollution, living space, traffic, safety, housing, peace and education. In this study, Hyderabad has actually fetched a good position. In terms of speed of traffic during rush hours, Hyderabad is termed as much better than Mumbai and Madras. It is obviously happier than Mumbai in terms of density expressed in persons per room. It is also apparently better than Calcutta, Delhi and Ahmedabad in terms of percentage of houses with water and electricity. Hyderabad is also safer than Madras, Calcutta and Delhi in terms of air and noise pollution.

Because of all these reasons, today all eyes are set on this city. Hyderabad real estate news is a hot topic among realtors. Hyderabad real estate prices have gone up substantially from their 1995 levels and a similar trend is likely to continue in the near future. This is mailnly because of Andhra Pradesh's proactive approach and investment-friendly policy measures.

In the last two years, the property prices in Hyderabad and its outskirts have spiralled. Most of the demand has come from the IT companies, which have preferred the city to any other cities in the country. The available number of apartments for sale in Hyderabad is much more than any other neighboring city. The failure of Information Technology Park in Bangalore due to infrastructure related problems have also shifted lot of demand to Hyderabad, which is currently providing the most suitable base for such activities. With majors like Microsoft, Oracle, Wipro, Citicorp, Intergraph, Satyam Computers, Metamor Graphics, etc entering the city territory the entire structure of the market has transformed.

According to expert oipinins, today Hyderabad has a basket of incentives. Besides proactive sops from the government agencies, factors like lower cost of living compared to any other metros, shorter travel times to the work place, and also easy availability of skilled manpower makes the city quite attractive. No doubt all seems to be positive for this market.
