Fireproof doors that are made from old reclaimed pine are very

durable and have a long lasting life.

The doors are made with flame resistant materials.

These doors are one of the most important elements in every

commercial or residential fire protection system. Fireproof

doors are used to confine a fire within one or several rooms

of buildings such as private homes, hotels, hospitals and

skyscrapers and to prevent spreading of the fire to other rooms

or halls.

Fire resistant doors are now more widely used in newly built

blocks of flats, for example to isolate the garage area or the

gas and electricity meter, or in all areas where fires or short

circuits may develop.

The fireproof doors are filled with an insulation layer consisting

of a compressed fireproof material which practically fills out the

space between the lining of the door. Fire resistant doors can be

installed in your home, office or any extensions to the building.

Whether front entrances or internal doors. Existing doors can also

be upgraded by making them fireproof and to allow the door to withstand

potential fire hazards.

The fire resistance level of the doors is tested and authorized by

specialised governing bodies that then standardise and certify the

doors to the most stringent european standards. The fire resistance

doors are clearly marked as to how long they can resist the fire.

The standards are: ei-15, ei-30 and ei-60. So the resistance starts at

15 minutes and goes up to 60 minutes. This basically means that one can

take shelter behind such doors for the given specified time.

Fireproof doors can be made in all sizes, practically made to measure,

on order and they can be made in old reclaimed wood.

This could be reclaimed pine, oak, teak or any other timber that the

customer wishes to use in his private home or business premises
