Not to mention all your free time of course! So, making the decision to outfit your boat with a wakeboard tower is a big one. Let's go over some of the critical factors that you should be looking for on such a big purchase.

When shopping around for a wakeboarding tower for your boat, keep in mind that it's a big investment and you want it to last you a long time. Look for a product that will meet your needs both in the short and long run. That includes all the accessories that typically go with a tower, like mirrors and speakers.

When buying a wakeboard tower, keep the following in mind:

durability: As mentioned previously, because you will be putting down a decent amount of money to obtain a wakeboard tower, you will want a product that will last a long time. Therefore, you definitely will want to buy a durable product that is well constructed. In addition, you obviously will want safe wakeboarding equipment and gear. More durable equipment generally equates as safer equipment

cost:

Wakeboard towers come in all different price ranges. Shopping around is highly recommened, and almost crucial to finding something that works for your budget and expectations. Take your time here, rushing will only make you more prone to buying something that isn't exactly what you need. You might look at universal towers for an additional reason, and that is that they can be removed and remounted on a different boat should you sell your current one.

design:

Style isn't the most important factor when it comes to boating equipment such as a wakeboard tower, but it should be included in the overall discussion. Towers do come in many, many radically different styles and looks. Generally speaking, you'll be able to find a tower design that compliments almost any type of boat.

By keeping these factors in mind, you will be well on your way to identifying and purchasing the most appropriate wakeboard tower for your watercraft. In short, you will be well on your way to many enjoyable days out on the water.
