It just literally perplexes me why people take out their time knowing that they want to build an income on the internet that will take care of them the rest of their lives, but when you ask them to pull out their credit card and spend some money on the thing they act as if you asked them to jump into a swimming pool naked in the middle of Alaska!



I just don't understand why would you start a home based business on the internet (and for that matter any business at all)and afraid to spend some money on the business in order to get it up and running. With just about any business opportunity you will have to spend your highest costs in the start up phase before you get down to some fixed figures. There are costs in the beginning stages of the business that you will not be aware of and you'll have to pay them in order to make the venture run smoothly and effectively. That's just the way things will happen so you shouldn't let that stop you from progressing forward. The longer you keep going the more you will end up learning and eventually you will begin to lower your costs as you become fully aware as to what it takes to run your business venture overall.

You know you want to make a million dollar income, but you cringe every time you have to spend a measley $20 dollars on some advertising that will benefit your business in the long haul. How can anyone possibly succeed with this type of mentality? You need to have some realistic expectation in your mind that you will have to spend some "test" money on different advertising techniques as well as some educational materials to figure out what is worth spending your money on and what after much testing has proven to be a total waste of time. The attitudes of some people on the internet alone will tell you exactly why those individuals have not made any money.

When you start off a thing focusing on what you do not want to happen then that mindset alone will keep you from doing anything and you will kill your own business. There is no reason not to be open minded and spend some money on your business because only testing will tell you what works and what doesn't. The only way I see that this is not that big a factor is when you join a venture where there is a mentor and that mentor has an exact system of success techniques that are already proven and all you have to do is duplicate exactly what he or she is suggesting. And I can tell you even in that arena that persons methods nine times out of ten will cost you some money.

You should never be afraid to spend as much money as you can on techniques that are proven to be successful. The only real time I care about a budget is when money is being spent on techniques that anyone can see if they pay enough attention that they just plain don't work. These are the reasons why I just can't see why people start a home based business on the internet and they don't want to spend any money.
