Cakes are considered to have the kind of property that makes a person that eats it, happy. This is because of what eating sweets can do to us. Eating sweets can really make us feel good when we're down and blue, especially when we're eating chocolates.

Chocolates have a chemical which is responsible for making us happy, and this chemical is called the Theobromine. Theobromine, the primary alkaloid in cocoa and chocolate, is responsible for chocolate's mood-elevating effect, which is making us happy. This chemical is also present in cakes, especially the chocolate ones.

But other than its mood-elevating effect, cakes are primarily used in ceremonial events or special occasions such as in weddings, anniversaries, or birthdays. And these are the reasons why cakes are always on the demand. And among of the many bakeries in the Philippines, the Red Ribbon Bakery is the most preferred choice of many Filipinos.
