It's made easier thanks to the internet, there are lots of websites that offer great advice about loans. Some of these also allow you to easily compare different loans on offer by looking at their exchange rates. There are a few different types of loan which are suitable, including:

-Personal loans ? These are only suggested if you can't get any other form of loan. The interest rates paid on these types of loan depend upon your personal credit rating, so if you have a poor credit rating then you may have to pay a lot of money. -Home improvement loan ? These are much better than personal loans as they are specifically for home improvement. You might qualify for special loans if you are a Native American or a veteran. -Home Equity Loan ? Make sure you're very careful when taking out these loans. This basically means selling part of your house to the bank to release equity. Basically like re-mortgaging your house. If you don't pay this loan the bank will take your home away.

Fundraising

In order for a bank to consider giving you a loan to finance your kitchen renovation project you will need at least a four or five figure loan. If your project will only cost under a thousand dollars then the bank will be unlikely to lend you the money because it's not really worth it.

You could consider using fundraisers in order to get money to finance your project. You could consider some of the following: -making home made jewelry -cake sales -Yard sales -Washing cars

All of these things take quite a lot of time, but if you have children then you could get them to help!

Crime

Crime never pays, but it could finance your kitchen project! Of course it is not a good idea, but it would technically work. The only problem with this route is that you will almost certainly be able to get enough money to fund your kitchen, you may even evade the police for long enough to get your kitchen fitted. However eventually you'll get a knock at the door for the police to come and take you away. So just how long you will be able to live with your brand new kitchen is unknown.
