Have you been staring at those old VHS tapes in your garage and wondering whether it's time to let them go? Well, you might not realize that there is another option that allows you to keep those recordings and enjoy them forever, even if you have long since gotten rid of your VCR player. With video to DVD technology you can have all your old VHS tapes transferred to digital video discs. There are convenient video to DVD service providers that you can mail your old VHS tapes to, and in return they will send you a nicely packaged DVD to enjoy for many years to come.

Without video to DVD service you could easily lose the memories that have been recorded on your old home movies, because VHS tapes typically start deteriorating after 15 years or so. Service providers can make these tapes better than they were to begin with because they offer DVD mastering and editing to bring the quality of the recording to the highest possible level while eliminating any unwanted footage. And with DVD duplication, you can have numerous copies of your old home movies made to distribute to friends and family, on a format that they will actually want to watch.

Many people have been using video to DVD technology to make new copies of their old wedding videos, especially if they are celebrating a milestone such as the 25th anniversary. With DVD mastering and DVD duplication, you can have beautifully edited copies of these recording made for everyone who you want to share them with. When the recordings are transferred to DVD format, edited, packaged in professional looking cases, and labeled with lovely art work, it's as if they are brand new again. The digital disc format is much more likely to last through the generations, and will be easy to transfer to different formats as technology advances in the future.

If you've got some old videos lying around and nothing to play them on, hurry up and transfer them to DVD as quickly as possible, before you lose them altogether.
