There are many providers who offer VoIP Call Termination services.

For instance, a Tier-1 operator registered and having a physical international network in the country. As a result they have the right to originate and terminate a call using Internet telephony services.

In order to provide Voice over IP call termination services a Tier 2 operator, can initiate call termination over Internet by leasing a portion of network of Tier 1 operator.

Similarly there are Tier 3 operators who can lease a part of network from both Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers. It saves Tier 2 and Tier 3 operators much of the cost of infrastructure and registration. Technical equipments and infrastructure like routes which need a substantial investment to be incurred are taken care of by Tier 1 operator. Besides them, there are wholesale call termination providers and resellers of voice over IP telephony who also offer similar termination facilities.

Since Voice over IP telephony services has emerged as a growing trend, the rates provided by various service providers for termination tends to be very competitive thus making it a volatile market. One should always select the provider which is offering best rates for their services.

Besides rates, stability of network and voice quality are other aspects that providers of call termination services and end customers should consider before leasing the network and purchasing minutes respectively. ACD, ASR and PDD are the parameters on which the clarity of voice should be judged.

A detailed call duration report is an essential service that one should look for before closing the deal with any telecom service provider of voice over Internet protocol. It gives you the ability to manage your business in a more systematic manner and keep potential risk factors well under control. Good provider would provide you with special wholesale and reseller panel which would incorporate features like customers call flow, ability to keep a check on the minutes used, instant renewal of minutes etc, thus helping you to keep a constant check on your business.

Besides this, a fully trained technical team providing support 24/7 via email or chat is a feature that some of the good Internet telephony service companies provide. This is extremely essential in order to manage voice over Internet services on an ongoing basis.

Keeping these basic pointers in mind cuts down on the irregularities of Voice over IP call termination and helps provide a hassle free and stable communication network.
