NuvaRing is among the third generation contraceptive having the synthetic hormone desogestrel, which is reported to cause blood clots in women. Women who have been using NuvaRing pills have reported to be suffering from pulmonary embolism. It is seen that women have venous thrombosis events while using NuvaRing. There are reports of pulmonary embolism (PE), ischemic strokes and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) as possible side effects to a woman under NuvaRing dosage.

If any woman who has suffered from the above side effects on using NuvaRing can take the help of the law to file lawsuit against Organon, the manufacturer of the pill. The lawyer evaluates the different claims made and takes proper action. It is unfortunate that in spite of suffering serious side effects, many women are ignorant about the presence of legal rights for their benefits.

This kind of defective drugs making their way in the market place is due to these companies putting more importance to profits than to the safety of the patients.
