No fisherman's boat ever moved that fast. Perhaps,it was a falling star, but this one continued to move back and forth, each time becoming even brighter.Everyone knows that meteorites do not behave in such a fashion. They glow for a short while and then are swallowed up into oblivion. By this time, an un controllable drowsiness overcame me and I forced myself to take the few steps to bed. I thought it must be the result of my long trip as I fell into bed forgetting lights, forgetting Pandayji and everything else.
I probably fell asleep before my head touched the pillow, but suddenly I felt totally awake and full of energy, as though I had been plugged into a revitalizing energizer. I looked around the room and was amazed to find a faint glow. Outside the picture windows was a brilliant light. The logical mind has a way of formulating theories to explain anything. It was obvious to me that I had fallen asleep and was dreaming about a bright light from a helicopter outside my window. And, of course, that was the source of the faint glow in my room. It didn't occur to me that I couldn't hear any sounds from a helicopter. But isn't that the way it is in dreams? Dreams don't have to be logical.
I was quite convinced that I was having one of those lucid dreams where you seem to be awake, yet, still dreaming. I tried to go along with the program, but still it wouldn't go away. The light outside became brighter and the faint glow in the room increased in intensity till it was almost as bright as daylight. Then, I heard voices. At first, they were faint and muffled and seemed to come from the sitting room. Now they were getting louder and clearer and I started to understand what was being said.

Batman Forever Part 2
After our initial greetings, Pandayji said, ?Your visit is only a short one, so we must make the most of it. Let's clear immigration and customs and we'll go directly to your hotel. You must be exhausted.?
Soon enough, we found ourselves in a cab on our way to the hotel. We spent a good deal of time catching up on personal family news. Memories flooded my mind as I checked into the hotel. It was the same one where Mardai and I had stayed when we visited India together. Even my suite was the same. ?How did you manage to arrange all this, Pandayji?? I asked.
?It was no problem, John,? he replied,?for old time's sake. And,of course, I wanted you to be as comfortable as possible. You go ahead and unpack. Get some rest, if you can. We have a busy day tomorrow. I'll see you in the morning. ?Pandayji looked at his watch, smiled kindly and left. I knew he wanted to stay and talk, but he also knew how tired I was. That's the type of person Pandayji is. Since it was late, I wasted no time getting ready for bed.
My suite was on the western side of the hotel overlooking the Arabian Sea. Many times, I had stood by those large, picture windows and watched the waves smash against the rocks far below. Just before turning in, I returned once more to the windows and looked over the ocean into the great void beyond. It was very dark, but there were pinpoints of light riding the ocean waves. The fishermen must be out, I thought. I was about to collapse into bed when I saw one of the lights dart across
the horizon with remarkable speed.
