Of all the great hunting trips I have been on and the different types of game I have hunted, I have come to really enjoy bird hunting and often recommend it to my friends who are looking to get into hunting. The hunting trip I took last year with my two brothers was the highlight of my experience with this sport, maybe because it was the most successful of all the trips I have taken.

Even though bird hunting is among the safest of hunting sports, you should still use caution, especially when hunting big birds like turkeys and Canadian Geese. These birds are the most aggressive and can do the most damage to a hunter by using their sharp beaks as weapons. But, by putting safety first and following some basic steps you can be assured that your hunting experience will be a good one and before long you will become a master hunter in bird hunting.
