This is the mantra that Thomas Brown lives to uphold. He says, "It is written that we have a right to pursue happiness, but I say we are happy only when we are in the pursuit of our dreams." As Henry David Thoreau wrote, "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
An energetic, ambitious but soft spoken guy from south Florida, Thomas has already taken big steps in achieving his dreams with this mindset. But he is quick to point out that he is just a regular guy like most people. He simply wanted more for his family. Success in the insurance business was not overnight for Thomas. He understands the power of perseverance and commitment to a goal. All he wanted was something more than what the routine tick-tock of life had to offer.
An alumnus of North Carolina State University, Thomas lives just outside Orlando, Florida, in the small town of Apopka. He and his wife Cheryl have one son, Kyle, who is in college at this time. As a top performing specialist in pharmaceutical sales, Thomas had a desire to take it up a notch so he looked for an opportunity to get into business for himself.
His goal was to somehow earn more income in less time. Thomas became a licensed insurance agent in 2002 and he started working part-time with National Agents Alliance. In 2003 he earned his first $100,000 in just over six months and became the number 6 personal producer in the nation for NAA out of thousands of agents.
In 2004 he started sharing the National Agents Alliance vision with others. He now owns a multi-million dollar insurance agency. Thomas credits the leadership at NAA with providing a proven track record of success that anyone can follow. Thomas' income has nearly doubled each of the past three years, reaching nearly $700,000 in 2007. Not only that, several of his team members are six figure income earners themselves. Thomas and his team of agents are multi-million producers who have been recognized consistently as leaders with NAA.
Thomas says, "it's all about having fun, making money by helping people." He achieved one of his first goals in the insurance business by replacing the income of his wife's beauty salon, allowing her to retire and sell the business. Thomas then set his sights on a cool pool home with the right extras that he now enjoys while drawing up plans for a custom home.
Thomas and Cheryl have also experienced the special fringe benefits that the insurance business offers. They have seen a big part of the world, thanks to company paid incentive trips to top world class destinations. These excursions have taken Thomas and his family and even some of his agents to Hawaii, Alaska, Las Vegas, St. Thomas, Rome, Turkey, Greece, and Bermuda. Additionally, being able to save income for the future has been a big boost to Thomas and his family.
Thomas says it's not just about the money you can earn with NAA. It's really about the experiences you can share with other people in life. After all in your life experience, all you can take with you is your memories, so create some great ones now for yourself!
More and more, what used to be dreams are becoming Thomas' reality, and with each realized goal comes the inspiration to set his sights even higher, knowing that he is bound only by his imagination. His current goal is to partner up with people who want to change their lives and achieve their financial goals in the insurance business.

Although, it has always been a dream, how can you make it happen? How do you get yourself a successful singing career? Listed below are some tips that may help you do just that.
Know how to sing
First and foremost, it is most important to know how to sing.
You may have a natural talent for singing, but it is not going to be enough. Singing involves a great deal of hard work and dedication. Therefore, it is important to begin as soon as possible and work hard. You already have the gift of the voice and the talent, so now all that remains, is the development of the two.
Develop an image
In order to have a successful singing career, it is necessary to be memorable and distinct, which actually begins with image. This does not mean that you have to change yourself, it simply means that you should enhance the particular parts of your personality that are memorable and unique, which will in effect grab peoples attention towards you and make them listen.
Work on a trademark
At times, a distinct image is just not enough. Sometimes it is better to have a trademark, a symbol that will remind people of who you are. Whether it is a unique hairstyle, a piece of jewelry, a dance step, or an expression, it is an important factor of you being remembered.
Original Material
Continue to work on original material. Imitation is not something that is undertaken by a professional singer. All of your work must remain original. Play and perform your work as often as possible and become known for them.
Opportunity of Exposure
It is important to grab any opportunities of exposure. For every singer that wants to succeed, then no gig is ever too small. Meet people and let them listen to your music at every opportunity possible. After all, you will never know if one of those people watching is a talent scout or a producer.
Believe in Yourself
The most important factor it to believe in yourself. It is true that other people may not see your talent just yet, but as long as you know in your heart that you will make it big someday, then that certain someday will become the reality that you have always dreamed of. So if you are ready to make your dreams come true, then keep the listed tips in mind, and reach for the stars.
