Dvd Vending Machine Business

    View:
Well you certainly can if you make some smart educated decisions along the way and avoid some of the scam artists out there.

For me what started out as a part time little vending business quickly grew into a full time vending business operation where now I have been able to quit my job as a City Bus Driver and run my vending machine business full time.

I chose to do this business and create something like this because I always wanted to be independent and make money for myself. I didn't ever want to be at the mercy of a company where I they had control of my financial well being and could lay me off work when it suited them.

So I chose to start my own vending business. So slowly one machine at a time I began to find many different locations in my area to place my machines. I first started out by doing a little research and homework to make sure that I could get the right machines for my locations and most importantly deliver on the promises that I was making to the various companies in my area.

My homework really included visiting my local vending machine distributor and finding out which machines where the right ones to buy and for the right price. I also talked to other people in the industry to find out what kind of machines that they were using.

I started out with pop vending machines because I found them to be the cheapest price to get started with and easy to run. I had found a local mover to deliver the machines to my locations and off I was.

Why am I telling you all of this? Many people have asked me over the years about the vending business and how it worked. So I have found myself helping others along the way teaching them how to start their own vending machines businesses in their local community.

The truth is that really anyone can get started in the vending business with very little start up capital and if they have the motivation and the drive to want to run a successful business then it is very possible.

My advice when starting out is to stay away from opportunity shows or seminars that promise the world in vending. All they really want to do is sell you a bank of over priced vending machines.

That's all they want to do really! At the end of the day you may fork out thousands of dollars on machines that will end up sitting in your garage collecting dust. We don't want this to happen!

One piece of advice is that you should do your homework first and start out slowly buying one machine at a time before diving in head first to the vending business.

This article contains very important updated information for anyone looking to start a vending machine business, or a company already in business.

My name is Max Woody, President of Best Choice Vending, Inc., located in Durham, NC. I've been in the vending business for over 12 years now.

I provide a full line vending machine service to my local area. I sell just about everything from vending machines, including snacks, soda, juice drinks, fresh and frozen sandwich items, and even ice cream.

Over the years, I've encountered many people asking questions about how to start a successful vending machine business. So, in response to these questions, I've developed a website that will provide answers to these questions and much more.

In this article, I'd like to discuss a very serious matter that has happened with my business over the past 6 months and one that you need to pay close attention to.

Recently, there has been an increase of what's called ?Vending Management Companies? on the rise.

These companies are hired by some companies that provide vending service to their employees. The Vending Management companies are given complete control over vending companies to collect commissions from the sales of vending machines.

The Vending Management companies also require that vending companies sign a very detailed contract and agree to their terms and conditions. The problem is, these terms and conditions are not in favor of the independent vending companies like yours and mine.

They normally require that you spend hundreds, or even thousands to place monitoring devices on your vending machines just so they can know every last nickel your machines produce in sales.

Unfortunately, that's not all. They even require that you purchase insurance that will cost upwards to over $10,000 per year, just to protect them and not your vending business.

Obviously, the Vending Management companies are looking to suck every last nickel they can out of the small vending business owners like you and me. These people are crooks that have a license to steal and you must know exactly how to protect your business.

However, there's something that will stop them dead in their tracks. This something is called a ?Vending Machine Contract Agreement?.

I've discussed the importance of always using contracts with new customers in previous articles and once again this can't be stressed enough.

Just recently, a vending management company tried to steal a very good account that I've been serving for the past 5 years. Thank goodness my contract was there to save me.

The contracts I use provide complete details including prices and the length of time for the contract. Normally, I set up contracts with my customers for at least 2 year terms, which automatically renew for additional terms.

These contracts were drawn up by Attorneys and include very powerful terms and conditions that are valid in all states. These contracts provide business security that will guarantee you an income from your customers.

If the customer violates these contracts, by law they must pay you the lost revenue that would be generated from the account.

Like the saying goes, ?You don't want to leave home without them?, especially when signing up new customers.

To find out more about these contracts and more information about starting your vending business or increasing the profits of an existing business, visit my website at www.bestvendinginfo.com

To wrap it up with a final note, like most businesses, changes will need to made to lock in your profits and protect your business. For the last 12 years, I've used contracts to secure my business and would highly recommend that you always use them to protect your business as well.
