Earth Hour Lights Off

    View:
The eco-cult is obviously deranged. This class of eco-cult sadists and intellectual midgets truly believe that 'climate' is global; it is in 'crisis'; that the earth mother is feverishly rebelling against humanoids; and that temperatures are linear progressions not prone to much in the way of variations. They can't even explain the ending of the last ice age 12.000 years ago. Worse the brainwashed cult slaves fall for any and all government and populist programme of environmental care and worry. The latest is of course the absurdity called 'Earth Hour'. A more Marxist and Orwellian name would be hard to invent.

'Earth Hour' is ostensibly about turning the lights off for one hour around the world on March 29th, to show mother earth that we care. It started in Sydney Australia last year, and the little Marxist-Greenist dears have since carried the idea to encompass large cities in many countries on every continent. As expected the media is solidly behind this sad 'idea' or rather this ridiculous burst of irrationality.

There are many things wrong with 'Earth Hour'. One can start with the most obvious.

First it does nothing to alter 'climate' since climate is largely unaffected by electricity grids and industrial activity including Co2, has marginal impacts on temperature – natural gases are simply recycled through natural climate feedback processes.

Second, it is expensive to shut down grids and repower them, and it takes more energy to restart a power grid than just letting it run for one hour.

Third, climate is largely a solar phenomenon and is composed of about 1 million variables none of which are affected by shutting or powering up an electricity grid.

Fourth, most of the planet was not involved having too much common sense and being too busy living to participate further reducing any supposed effects of powering off energy grids for a short time.

So why do it?

Logic and rationality are not important to those who swear by globaloney warming or climate change. Climate has never been stable, ice ages come and go with regularity; solar fluctuations can lead to dramatically higher temperatures in certain regions of the globe; and the variables and feedback loops are so complex that they can't be modeled.

We can't even model as Essex and McKitrick have pointed out in their excellent book 'Taken by Storm' something as well known as a thunderstorm. If we can't model one storm how can you model 'global climate'. Basic thermodynamic physics, real historical temperature readings and wide variations in just the past 1000 years of climatic conditions [we don't grow wine in England anymore those plants have moved 350 miles due south]; make a mockery of simpleton ideas surrounding temperature.

But don't worry, after the coldest winter in 50 years and a record winter for snow cover, the little eco-fascist minds with their media friends will have globaloney warming and 'climate change' [whatever that means]; in the headlines after the first and perhaps only hot day of this coming June. Forgotten will be 5 months of winter. After the first hot day, headlines will scream that globaloney warming is real and that the human must die to save mother earth.

This is the real problem with 'Earth Hour' and the eco-fascist cult – there is no rationality, proportion or factual basis to any of their claims. It is a cult designed for those who lack self-esteem, a purpose or spirituality. It is a cult of pagan losers for the most part. Instead of participating and doing something real like cleaning up your local river; stopping local pollution; funding local wildlife reserves; picking up garbage along your local roads and parks; the eco-fascists sit on their ample arses and sniffily proclaim themselves superior because they cried about the polar bear [whose population has recently doubled]; or they turned off their lights for one hour.

Ah what a sacrifice! The poor little things turned off their lights for one whole, big, long hour! Congratulations lemmings! If we did the same can we now join your cult? Do we get a t-shirt if we do? Or better how about your treatise instead based on real science and the scientific method, supported by historical facts, and independent non-government experts, that one single natural gas – Co2 – is causing climate to 'change' or the earth to heat up? Can we read your 'bible' which logically and irrefutably corroborates AlGore and his cult's claims? Oh it does not exist? Oh i see, oh we are supposed to believe you because you say you are right, and the cult is supreme.

Got it.

'Earth Hour' is pathetic because it reinforces the superstitious, irrational, and cultish mentality of the eco-cult. Joining a cult requires [as in the case of Islam]; limited intelligence, wide-eyed naivety; and a lack of self-esteen. This then is the real message of 'Earth Hour' – bow your heads, obey and feel exalted because you actually turned your power off for one whole hour. But don't worry no real actions will be necessary. It is all so meaningless and vacuous.

What 'Earth Hour' says to the educated and skeptical is the following. By turning out the lights for one hour, you demonstrate your complete ignorance that somehow mother earth has a fever; that human kind is a rapacious savage virus; and that the modern world must be eradicated so that 'global' temperatures can conform to AlGore the eco-cult's prime whore and spokeslady's powerpoint slides and expectations of climate traveling across graphs in nice neat straight lines with no variations.

By turning out your lights for one hour you are an eco-cult slave self-righteously proclaiming the action as a badge of honor; a duty; and of course a sign of higher purpose and most importantly – marxist superiority.

'Earth Hour' is a twisted sick Marxist rant.

For the less feeble minded 'Earth Hour' conjures up visions of people, dressed in animal skins, sacrificing virgins, dancing naked, engaging in orgies whilst high on various datura leaves and seeds, chattering feverishly to mother earth praying for love and redemption – plus a bloody good harvest.

Fortunately many people enjoy the modern world, recognise the earth is cleaner and greener than at any time in the past 200 years and that with future technology will be cleaner still. Many people understand that climate is local, quite variable and has not a whit to do with Co2. Let's hope those people prevail against the ridiculous pagan cult and their aspirations for a stone age world.
