Now more than ever the environment is becoming a real concern. One thing that has damaged the environment significantly is our dependence on forms of energy that are either non-renewable or environmentally damaging. This can caused a real surge of research and development of appliances and gadgetry for the home that does not exact such a high toll on our environment. There are a huge number of new technologies that one can employ to make a home more friendly on the environment.
