Generally the ones that are able to reach such speeds are the ones known as nitro remote control cars and which are powered by a fuel which contains nitro methane. It is this fuel which provides the power and speed for these cars to then travel at the speeds stated above.

After you have attached the glow start now the recoil starter can be pulled. The recoil starter needs to be pulled back quickly and released as soon as the engine has started. Be careful when pulling on the recoil as too much effort and the spring on it could become damaged.

Generally it only takes one pull on the recoil starter to get the engine going if done correctly, but sometimes you may need to give it another go. Plus if you are having problems with the engine starting the first to do is check the air and fuel mixture and once it is running this will then need to be adjusted. The only way you will be able to tell if the engine is running correctly is by the sound that it is making.

As these kinds of fast remote control cars come with engines that function similar to the ones in the real cars then they need to be maintained properly. You need to have a good maintenance schedule in place to regular ensure that all parts within the engine are working correctly.
