Ugly Betty, who centers on America Ferrera's Betty Suarez, chronicles the day to day life of a young Latina who is hired to be the personal assistant of Daniel Meade, editor-in-chief (Eric Mabius) of MODE Magazine. She may not be a size two with long blonde hair, fair white skin and sky blue eyes, but Betty is smart, assertive, hardworking and is determined to survive in the world of high fashion meanies. Also included in the series are Rebecca Romijn as Alexis Meade, Vanessa L. Williams as Wilhelmina Slater, Becki Newton as Amanda Tanen, Ana Ortiz as Hilda Suarez, Alan Dale as Bradford Meade, and Michael Urie Marc St. James, just to name a few.



In "Bananas for Betty," the Golden Girl Betty White will play herself, as Wilhelmina Slater will attempt to change her "ice queen" image. However, things turn sour as she shoves an older woman, Betty White, to take the lady's cab away from her.

Betty White is best known for her work on The Golden Girls, where she played Rose Nylund, the na've, simple and the most kind-hearted character on the long-running sitcom. She also appeared in its spin-off, The Golden Palace, and often starred as a guest on shows such as Ally McBeal, That ?70s Show, and Malcolm in the Middle. White recently appeared on Boston Legal, where she played Catherin Piper for 15 episodes. She was also featured on the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, playing Ann Douglas. Today, she is working on the romantic drama film, Love N' Dancing.
