The “Love Song” singer is finally enjoying the sweet smell of success after years in the business and plans on living the dream for as long as she can with more winter dates into 2009. The Grammy nominated singer and songwriter, whose hit single “Love Song” wasn't about the typical love story but rather a battle between her record label, is heading out this winter for a few gigs before the New Year and then again in February. Her latest dates include singer/songwriter Tony Lucca and begin February 11th in Virginia. Ready to celebrate the New Year with a new perspective on life and love? If so, Sara Bareilles tickets are the perfect way to enjoy some New Year's resolutions, so check her out!

The Little Voice singer has seen a whirlwind of a year, which can neatly be wrapped up in a gold certified debut album, two Grammy nominations (including Song of the Year for “Love Song” and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance), a number one song in over 13 countries which was named the number one adult contemporary song of 2008, an ASCAP Vanguard Songwriters Award, a top selling album at iTunes and a total of three headlined tours. With no formal musical training, this Eureka, CA native has done well for herself and it should come as no surprise than she remains as humble as ever. When she learned of “Love Song's” number one position, her first reaction was utter shock. “I said, ‘No Way.' It's totally, completely unexpected. I'm very grateful. It has become something I could only imagine. I never expected things to go in this direction,” Bareilles said in an interview with http://LiveDaily.com.

As the hit single goes, the songwriter has made a name for herself for speaking her mind and not letting stereotypes get to her. “Love Song,” she says to http://LiveDaily.com, isn't “written about anyone in particular. It was more of a stick-it-to-‘em to my record company – not because they were putting pressure on me but because I was putting pressure on myself. They ended up getting the brunt of my frustration.” The attitude and personal enchantment that “Love Song” and her other single “Bottle it Up” have made Bareilles in a league of her own in comparison to other adult contemporary artists. Already having toured with hot artists like the Counting Crows and Maroon 5 (whom she's had a longstanding relationship with since attending UCLA with a few members), the 28 year old doesn't plan to slow down upon next year.

The musician recently released her first DVD, “Between the Lines: Sara Bareilles Live at the Fillmore,” a live view of the singer at her peak – a sold out concert at San Francisco's most famous venue. The July 12th filming also features a Hotel Cafe presentation with friend Ingrid Michaelson for the single “Winter Song.” The singer has kept a strong presence with her record label as she continues to write new material and express herself through song. “I kind of realized that if I don't learn to speak up for myself, someone else is going to do the talking for me. I had to kind of get brave for a little bit,” she continued with http://LiveDaily.com. The brave face hasn't yet to wear off as Bareilles continues to shine in the music world, so enjoy her live in concert this year with tickets from http://www.stubhub.com/sara-bareilles-tickets today!
