You 'll no doubt have noticed by now that there has been an explosion of video marketing on the websites that compete in your market and generally there are two different types. Some of the more conservative would rather use video to compliment the text they already have on their site while there are other sites that use the video almost exclusively. Regardless of the method used, there are some distinct advantages to this new craze that should be examined more closely.

Keep Surfer's Interested

One of the best things about video marketing is the fact that it allows you to make an immediate connection. Everyone who markets online knows that you need to make an impression right away to keep the surfer interested and that's the power of video. The advantage here is that you can make the presentation yourself and say exactly what you mean if you find that you're not very good with words in a written manner.

Simplicity

If you don't know much about it, you might be frightened off by video at first and think that it might be too complicated for you to master but nothing could be further from the truth. Remember that there are places that can help you with their expertise so that you can have the best looking, most professional videos on your site in a short time.

Speed

You need to get your point across as fast as possible. That's what it's all about on the Internet and the best way to do that is with video. There's nothing faster or more immediate than the transfer of information from your mouth to someone's ears. Remember that there is information now that states our attention spans are even shorter than they were only as few years ago. You'll need to keep that in mind as you come up with a careful script for your video.

Overall, the investment is small and the returns are large as far as video marketing goes. As well, all indications are that the Internet is fast becoming the favored way to do business.
