Beyond the style of your home furniture, the feature that is most important is functionality. With the number of hours spent in front of a computer monitor growing, furniture makers are beginning to design their computer furniture to match ergonomic guidelines for reducing stress on the body that leads to carpal tunnel syndrome, neck, shoulder and back pain.

Computer chairs that are adjustable in height and lumbar support have enjoyed great popularity since they were introduced. Now you can find computer desks that have adjustable shelf heights for your computer monitor and keyboard as well.
