If someone asked me what's the quickest way to earn some cash I'd probably say something like the following method.
1.Buy a Report which shows you how to Make a million on the Internet
2.Read it and absorb all the lessons
3.Realise it's complete rubbish that will never work and you've been conned
4.Take all the content and rewrite it in your own style
5.Produce a sales page and cover it with pictures of speedboats, big houses, sports cars and girls in bikinis
6.Promote your million dollar internet money making scheme everywhere you can
The problem of course with the above method is you have to be happy conning people out of their hard earned cash which unsurprisingly many are happy to do so. Seriously though please don't do the above there's so many others using the same method the competition will be very high ! Most of the above reports or guides are based on some basic techniques such as PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising or bringing search engine traffic to your web site using search engine optimisation (SEO). Search on the net on those two words and you'll find plenty of information.
But of course the best way to make money on the internet will be individual to you. Got a hobby or interest - that's often a great way to start - head over to Wordpress or Blogger.com and set yourself up with a free blog. Start writing on your hobby as regularly as possible - little and often is the best way to run a blog. Make it interesting and relevant and pretty soon you'll start attracting traffic - read up on keywords and SEO to help boost this.
Once you've got a few visitors arriving regularly you can start making some money out of the blog. Google has a scheme called Adsense which allows you to put up advert on your site or blog - when someone clicks on the advert you'll get paid a commission. Some sites make thousands from this source alone.
Sign up for an Amazon affiliate account and review a book about your interest - include a link to the book on Amazon and you'll get a commission every times someone buys it. There are affiliate accounts for just about every product you can think of - occasionally write a review or recommend a product - you'll get a commission for every sale.
In the end if you can generate traffic by whatever means then you're well on the way to making money. If people keep visiting - some of them will buy those products or click those adverts. The above situation is exactly what a young man called Mr Wu did with his financial site - he set it up on Wordpress and spent ages promoting it and filling it with great content. He called it Bankaholic and the Blog had only one employee - him.
He recently sold the blog for approximately $15 million to Financial services company - not a bad result.

What keywords are they using when they search for relevant information online? What is their online behavior? What time do they usually access the net?
2.Choose your marketing tools. Based on the profiles of your potential clients, choose the best tools that will allow you to better connect with these people. If they are regulars on forums, you can use forum posting. If 95% of the time they are using search engines, ensure that you promote your products and services via PPC advertising and search engine marketing.
3.Invest on your advertising cost. You cannot cut corners when marketing your website online. Remember, the competition in the online arena is very cutthroat right now and you need to make sure that you'll get the exposure that you deserve. Make use of paid advertising tools like paid links and banner ads. Although you will need to shell out money in using these tools, you can be assured that they will help you bring interested parties to your website.
4.Use free advertising tools. You can create a very aggressive marketing campaign if you use both paid and free advertising tools.
