It was only in the 20th century that the creations of contemporary interior designers began being recognized by people. Unfortunately recognition came only in the end of the century. Earlier contemporary interior design stayed far from man's minds. That's truly sad if a nice idea like beautiful bathroom tile design stays not valued if you don't realize how to show it or have no idea of how to get a pleasant picture of special ceiling design. Still don't be too disappointed. We offer 5 ideas to change the way you present art.



1. Start displaying art just on the floor It's not actually needed to hang pictures on the wall as it is advised by stereotypes. Think of bending pieces of art against the wall or some unit of furniture as they stand just on the floor! If you have 2 or more paintings there are numerous ideas for you. Like this: bending one painting over the other presents a sense of pleasant carelessness and daintiness at the same time leaving most of the art in sight.

2. Put paintings on a shelf or ledge Think of a long slat on your wall. You can place pictures on all the extent of it. Try to make the order special, e.g. make it so that some of the paintings cover the others. Also you can find pieces of art of different parameters. In this case it's preferable to bring smaller pics to front. In case you think of decorating the wall over the fireplace, these ideas will also be helpful.

3. Apply designer apparatus to hang pictures It would be quite nice if you choose some hanging apparatus rather than simply hanging the art on the wall. One method is to decorate the wall with a horizontal bar not far from the ceiling. You will have to get 2 strings for the painting. Each string joins the edge of the painting with the horizontal beam for the picture to keep its place. And if you decide to put a number of pictures this way, it will certainly look like a modern art gallery construction.

4. Think of displaying pictures on ribbons If you hang 2 or three solid bands half or 3/4 the extent of the wall you'll be ok to hang your pictures in an interesting way. The pieces of art then happen to be hanging on the bands as you suspend them there. Pictures placed on the bands give some special atmosphere to the home decor. As an alternative you may use one ribbon for every one of several paintings. One end of the band is knotted on the wall near the ceiling while the other is tied on frame corners at the head of the framework. Then you should tie the remaining end of the band to its main part. Make the ribbon look as a triangular hanger, it can be easily adjusted.

5. Which way to set a number of images keeping level For the arrangement of a series of images there's a nice idea to imagine a line over the wall to be covered with pictures. Just a little leveling gauge may help see whether the pieces of art are hung the way they need to be. And if you find some 2-sided tape or adhesive clay and stick it to the side edges your pictures will be safe from bending to one side.
