Television is not this evil machine it's often portrayed to be unless you let it which is your choice. If you don't need to refer to the TV Guide to know what's on any given channel on any given night at any given time, you might want to find alternate forms of entertainment but there's no need to smash your TV with a brick.

Removing television from your life won't make you wealthy & successful any more than buying a real estate investing course and letting it sit on the shelf. Now if you start watching less TV and spending more time learning how to make money online, then you're moving in the right direction. But you're not assured of success. It takes time and perseverance. There are many ways to waste time. Take away the TV and most people will just find another way to be unproductive.

Unfortunately many people do watch too much television and do let it stop them from achieving success. You know you shouldn't ingest a whole bottle of pills if the prescription calls for one per day. Such an action could be fatal. While spending too much time staring at the television set won't kill you, it can strike a fatal blow to your chances of success and wealth.

What's on TV tonight? I neither know nor care. I've got better things to do and I happen to be listening to a CD (Led Zeppelin). But if the Final Four was on tonight, what's the difference between listening to a CD or listening to the TV? I would be doing something else constructive while not paying close attention to the game.

You might have a problem if you want to make money online but find yourself parked in front of the TV more often than you're parked in front of your computer or doing something else to learn how to make money online. Successful people don't have that problem.

So go ahead and enjoy a little TV now and then but not so much that it prevents you from achieving your goals. TV is not evil...unless you let it turn into a monster that steals all your productive time. Sadly most people seem to let that happen. They're the ones that need to take a sledgehammer to their TVs.
