When you are questing your way through the World of Warcraft, gold can become an issue. As you work your toon up through the game, gold will become essential for armor, weapons, mounts, training, and more. The less gold you have, the less you can do in-game. So, here are some great tips and ideas to help you earn World of Warcraft gold without a lot of effort.



Run instances that you can solo to get loot for the auction house. When you are a higher level, you can easily run instances that are a lot lower level that you can solo. While you will not gain any experience points, you will gain some good loot that you can sell on the auction house.

Firstly, you must have heard a million times that if you want to make gold in World of Warcraft, then its true that the Auction House (AH) will help you out in that. You should put every green item in the AH, if you are not an enchanter. The full amount is not paid by the vendors for the value it has. Don't try to be an enchanter if you are a beginner in the game. Save that option for another character. It a dearer business if you have gold already.

Kill a lot of "squishy" mobs for cash. Especially at higher levels, "squishy" humanoid mobs will drop a lot of money with very little effort from you. This is a great way to gain experience by grinding and to earn some money while you are at it.

So, now you are ready to go with those professions. Don't buy anything from the AH until level 20, as it doesn't make a big difference. The better option is to invest your money in some runecloth or mageweave bags so that when you are leveling, you can fill the bags with much loot.

Both in the water at ground level and the water area where the lvl 72 water elementals are, you will see pools of pure water. You will need at least a 75 fishing lure to fish these, but they give you motes of water. 10 motes of water equal a primal water.

Primal waters average a 20 gold auction price on my server. I many times have gotten 2-3 primal waters from 10 minutes of fishing with this method. I just farm the elementals and keep checking back to see if the pools are up.
