Thousands of sites are created daily,



but only few achieve their goal and success.

how are we to know which sites are the good ones and which are

the sites that aren't good enough?

First of all people will prefer a site that have a good structure and

that is easy to understand and know what is what and where is where,

People wont like a site that its hard to get the information that he wants

because the site is too clumsy or messy, people will like a site that its

structure and look will be organized.

Secondly people will like better sites that are built in better programming

languages like PHP and ASP, because its more easy to navigate and work

with a site with more options like "search" and "top10 users" and things

like that, that make it more easy to use the site.

Make sure that your sites doesn't use too many frames and banners like the

google adsense ads, people don't like sites that half of the site are full

of ads, people prefer sites that have only few ads in the site and that

they can see the information better without the ads,

Site that have too many colors (i mean with all the colors) are not good

for the viewers eyes and not giving any good ideas nor the design or the site

himself, sites with calm design are more likely get more visitors and viewers

then the site that its design "shouts" and is to colorful.

Sites with too much flash animation aren't bad but annoying, recently there are

things that make a "Frame" over the flash files that you see and make you click

on them before you can use them if its a menu or a game so in a site that have

too much flash areas the viewer will have to click on all the flash files just

for to use them! maybe its not hard and doesn't take a lot of time but sites

that doesn't have all that flash sites will be better to use then that site,

Sites that copy the design or the contents of other sites have a problem

of low viewers and you ask your self why ? the reason is simple..

copied designs and content make bad impression on the site because

it isn't the information that the site wrote and its not the design

that the site owns. the site is just getting all things from the other

site, so that if more easy to get the source site and stay there, and its

better choice to not even get back to the other site because it just do

copy and paste to other sites contents aswell.

While surfing in the internet you can find sites that have very long domain name

like "get-your-game-online-now.com" sites with that long domain gets low and lower

viewers because its hard to write the whole domain all the time and remember it,

for site owners i have a tip to buy a domain name as short as possible

even ifs its like only few letters. "get-your-game-online-now.com" can be

"getgameonline.com" or "gygon.com" and then its more easy to remember the site name

and domain name as well.

hundreds of sites are hosted on a free hosting server, those servers lack support

space and bandwidth, sites that are opened on those servers are closed shortly. just because

the site is too slow to load or the domain is a sub domain. my tip : use those servers

for only temporary and checking time of the site, before the opening,

I have seen few sites that are having some pictures in their design that aren't

connected to the site subject. a hosting company site with food or game pictures should be

avoided from happening and put only pictures of the subject.
