Playing inside or outside the house is necessary for children, some of the plays should be done outside . It all depends on the willingness of the children, their conditions and the weather. We dont want our kids to play outside when the weather is bad, do we?



Some of the plays can be played outside such as cycling, playing kite, running and other physical activities that require a lot of space. Belows are some points need to be considered when playing outside:

1.Environmental Safety

As parents, we know the environmental conditions of our house. Safe means that there are not many vehicles. Children should not play around the house which is near the main road.

2. Availability of Playground

For people living in housing complex , it is safer to play in the playground. Watch for dangerous spots like bush, pond, pavement, or wall that are close to the playground. Watch for the cleanliness, do not let our children play in places with a lot of waste around them.

3. Playing Tools

Parents should consider the safety of the playing tools. Actually this is quite easy. If it is made of steel, is it rusty? Are there any sharp points that could hurt the kids? We can touch them with our hands to make sure if it is safe or not. Is the slide too high? Don't let toddlers playing high slide.

For Playing inside the house, below are some points need to be considered:

1. Make sure the door is closed

When parents and children are in the house, make sure all doors are closed. Children can run out easily if the doors are open..

2. Keep glass or sharp things out of children's reach

If you like to collect goods that are broken easily like ceramics, please keep them out of children's reach or keep them in the cupboard or boxes.

3. Furniture

Prevent your children from falling due to unstable or light chair when they are trying to sit on it.

4. Stairs

Watch for the stairs! You had better make a special door to block the children so they can not walk back and forth, up and down the stairs.

5. Electricity and electronic appliances

Keep electronic appliances in the safe place. Cover the sockets so children cannot touch them.

There are so many things need to be considered by parents. Of course, parents know best which area that are safe for children to play. However, supervision by parents is the most important thing parents should do to make sure their children's safety while playing. By doing so, they can avoid accidents from happening to their children.
