After some months of waiting and anticipation, Prison Break finally returned on air last Monday, January 14. Since the WGA cut off their latest season, fans have been patiently waiting for the continuation of their favorite show. The episode "Boxed In" revealed what happened to Michael and what he has become. We were also given a chance to glimpse into the show's preview for winter episodes. This new preview excited us with fresh plot twists and tickled our curiosity with the characters' behaviors.



Michael is detained and he has to talk his way out. Sucre, who continues to make deliveries to Sona, receives a proposal from Susan. Whistler also receives an offer from T-bag, an offer that Sofia is not comfortable with. Mahone, on the other hand, is set to return to Sona but before he gets the chance to leave, Agent Lang surprises him with a parting gift. A seemingly mysterious American woman claims she needs to speak to Michael. Rumor has it that this new character is being planted for Prison Breaks' future plans of spin-off, with stories set in a women's prison milieu.

The show also presented more interesting details about the other characters in Sona. While Lechero gets caught up in the middle of a mutiny, Bellick ends up being engaged in a fight to death on the prison yard. Michael has finally decided to confess the truth to the new head of Sona. He admits that he's been planning an escape all this time. We are yet to find out if that move will do him good. Lincoln and LJ are given the opportunity to reunite for a while. This reunion set-up is being used by Susan to motivate Lincoln. In the turn of events, Michael manages to get himself imprisoned again and he goes back to the same goal: trying to break out. With Michael as the lead of the group, Lechero, Whistler and Mahone dig their way out of Sona.

Prison Break will be ending this coming February. To give way to the State of the Union address, no Prison Break will be aired on January 28. The show will resume on Monday, February 18, for it's 3rd season's finale.
