Sit And Go Strategy

    View:
Poker sit n go's are one of the greatest ways to make a profit and living online. In order to make this profit and living you need to go after first place each time as opposed to having the normal mindset many ebook poker books will tell you just to play for the money, WRONG. You need to constantly develop a strategy to take down first place in sit n go's over and over again. Let me explain why. Below is the prize pool for winning Sit and go's.

1st place = 50% of the Total Prize Pool

2nd place = 30% of the Total Prize Pool

3rd place = 20% of the Total Prize Pool

As you can see by the prize pool structure, a first place victory is just like taking down 3rd place 3 times in a row. It's extremely profitable to try and develop a sit n go strategy to take down first place over and over again. A great poker tip and some great advice is to learn how to play with 4 players left. When it is down to just 4 player's this is were you need to build your chip stack to take down first place. Many players? at this point in time will be playing extremely tight, not willing to part with their poker chips at all. Your main objective here is to play AGGRESSIVE and take down as many blinds and pots as you can. Many players at this time will be playing VERY tight and their game will be shifted to TIGHT. They will try to avoid being eliminated one place before the money and will fold at just about all costs. Even if they are holding an AK, AQ, 10 10 in their hand, they will not even budge one bit of their chips. This is the most crucial stage of a Sit n go because here you can really develop your chip stack into a monster. Once you develop your chip stack into a monster, you can use it to fuel and cruise your way into first place. There is no better feeling than constantly taking down first place in Sit and go's one after another after another. On the other hand, the worst feeling in the world is playing REALLY TIGHT when there is 4 players left and your chip stack just dwindles away until you're at a point where you are forced to go all in and throw in the towel. By playing aggressive, you will never run into your chip stack dwindling again at the end. Stay focused, bluff people out of pots and steal their chip stacks with 4 players left, and you will be on your way to winning first place constantly. If you try this out, I guarantee you will see an improvement in your game and winnings. So what if got sucked out on and didn't make the money and could have made 3rd place by just folding every hand, it would take you 3 of those 3rd place victories just to equal 1 first place finish!
Sit And Go Strategy
Texas Hold em is an easy game to learn, however it takes a lot of elements to build a strong sit and go strategy. Here are some winning hold em tips to follow:

In Any Position:

?Raise with A-A, K-K or A-K suited.

?Call with A-K, A-Q suited, K-Q suited, or Q-Q, J-J, or T-T.

?If you are holding anything else, fold.

In Middle Position:

?Call if you are holding 9-9, 8-8, A-J suited, A-T suited, Q-J suited, A-Q, or K-Q.

In Late Position

Call with A suited with any card, K-T suited, Q-T suited, J-T suited, A-J, A-T or any pairs.

The Flop

A good hold em tip to remember is by the time you reach the flop, 71% of the hand has been dealt. Use these 3 hold em tips:

?If don't have a decent hand now, only blind luck will save you. Fold.

?Not holding a top pair or better, and you're not close to closing a straight or flush? Fold.

?If you're in a late position playing a weak pair from the beginning, get out if there's a bet. Otherwise call and watch.

The Turn

?If you're confident of what you're holding after the turn, bet. Resist the temptation to check/raise because you might not get the chance.

?If you're only holding a pair, and the other players are raising, fold and save your money for the next game.

The River

If you're looking at your river card then you must have a pretty good hand going on. Otherwise you would have folded. Follow these hold em tips:

?Now you can see your complete hand. If you didn't make your hand, and you're not experienced enough to bluff, fold. Save the bluffing until you've developed your skills. More experienced players will catch you and drain your bankroll dry.

?If you're confident in your hand, and you're first to act, place a bet. Once again, don't look for a chance to check/raise. Any player who folds after your bet would have checked if you had, so you didn't lose anything.

?If you aren't sure you have the top hand, and you're first to act, check and watch the other players closely. If you sense weakness, and there's a bet, you can always raise.

There's a lot more to learn along the way, but you'll win plenty of hands if you practice all of these winning hold em tips.
