Hebrew has 22 letters, all of which are considered consonants. In modern Israeli Hebrew, such as newspapers, vowels are not printed. The reader usually makes out each word without the vowels.
Biblical Hebrew in Torah scrolls is also written without vowels. The Massorites later added the vowels in printed texts to resolve and standardize any differences in pronunciation. An example of a Hebrew vowel is the "Patach", which looks like a small dash written under a letter. It adds the "AH" sound to that letter.
In the tutorial "At Home with Hebrew" the letters and vowels are taught one step at a time. The first lesson teaches two consonants and 3 vowels, and the second lesson teaches two additional letters, and two more vowels.
So for example, the exercises in the first lesson, if they were in English letters, would have your pronouncing practice syllables like this: BAHBAH BABEH BEHBAH, VAHBAH, BAHVAH, BEHVAH, VEHBAH, BAHB, BAHV.
Lesson 2 adds two more letters (DALET and GIMMEL). At this point, the new letters are mixed with the vowels from the prior lessons to make it easy on the student. Examples might include: DAHDAH, DAHGAH, GAHGAH, GAHGEH, DAH, GAH, DAHD, GAHG.
By adding just one or two vowels at a time, the student continues to add to his or her collection of vowels. For example, the SHURUK has an "OO" sound. This allows the program to rehearse the student with syllables such as: DOO, GOO, BOO along with past sounds DOOBAH, GOOBEH, DOODAH, etc...
Towards the end of a lesson, the student is reviewed on letters from prior lessons, as well as letters from the current lesson. This makes sure that the learner retains information from prior lessons. So now, the student could try to pronounce syllables like: BEEGEE, BOOGOO, DOODAHD, VOODOO, BEEVAH, and so on.
From time to time, a new letter being taught might look like an existing letter already taught. For example, when the letter "RESH' is introduced, the student has already learned the letter "DALET". The tutorial program shows teh two letters, side-by-side, so the student can compare and see the sublte differences. Text also explains the differences to make sure it is obvious.
The student continues to learn, with just two consonants per lesson. By the end of the fourth lesson, all the vowels have been taught. By the end of the thirteenth lesson, the student will be able to read all twenty two letters and all the vowels. Thus, he or she will be able to pronounce any Hebrew word.
Step By Step Method
Jeff Walker's is the creator of a very successul product launch formula home-study course that teaches people how to maximize the earning potential of any product they create and launch. Unlike many of the more products sold online in this day in age, Jeff's is one of the products which actually works for the people who apply the teachings and methodologies within.
Numerous people have applied the step-by-step launch process to generate 5, 6 or even 7 figure launches - both online and offline. The launch sequences and process play an essential role in the marketing plan and it is important to understand each aspect in order to get maximum profit.
Some of the results of Jeff's students are nothing short of astounding and prove that it is possible to generate huge paydays in any type of market.
Doctor Joe Mercola took Jeff's home study course and applied it when he chose to sell a health related informational product. Even though Joe had no joint venture partners, he was still able to generate over $500,000 in sales, simply by using the step by step bluepring in his launch process. Physical products have high overheads, but by creating a digitally delivered informational product he was able to cut these to almost nothing.
One example is Martin Howey who, with a small 5,000 person list, was able to generate $2 million in sales by selling 100 spots in a $20,000 coaching course. So effective was the product launch formula in his process that he still has people on the waiting list, ready to pay him when more spots open up in his coaching program.
Jose Espana created a product specifically for the spanish speaking market. Again, using the same tried and tested techniques to launch his product, Jose was able to generate a recurring income stream of over $35,000 every single month - from just one product launch.
None of these results would have been achievable were it not for the step by step processes which Jeff outlines in his course. His course is one that has been instrumental to the success of many marketers over the past few years in online markets as well as offline.
What is it that makes the difference and turns these launches into massive successes?
There are several techniques that you can instantly use to improve your own success. One of the most important things to consider is the power of social proof. This is often overlooked by many marketers but having honest testimonials and feedback from real people can instill a great deal of trust in your prospects mind.
Even feedback that can sound negative may be useful in increasing your credibility. If someone asks for a refund, give it to them gracefully. Many times they will reply and thank you for your professionalism. A testimonial like this is an ideal additiont to your site to reinforce your integrity and credibility. Remember, customers don't buy from companies - they buy from people. Show them you are a real, genuine person and you can increase your chances of success when it comes time to launch your product.
