Sweating too much is a common issue in our modern world. This article explains six of the most common reason why people suffer from excessive sweating. Sweating too much is a serious problem that limits those who suffer from it and often make us avoid social setting and places or activities where we are afraid that our excessive sweating will be noticed.



*What we eat is often one top reason why we sweat too much. A healthy diet can help a lot on our way to overcome our excessive sweating. Another common diet issue is strong spices like onions, chili, curry and similar. Not only do these spices increase your sweat level. They also help to increase the smell of your sweating

*Energy drinks that contain caffeine or huge number of sugar will increase the level of sweating. You might think that a cold drink is helpful, and on a shorter term it is, but the sugar will raise your blood pressure. The same thing happens with coffee. This again will result in more sweat.

*Smoking is an excessive sweaters worst enemy. The toxins and poisons found in cigarettes will irritate your body, causing you to sweat more. Cigarettes will also increase your metabolism rate the same way as sugar and caffeine.

*Antiperspirants, soap, shampoo, skincare lotions, and perfume are all products that are presented to us as a way to stay clean and smell better. The truth however is that most of these products contain toxics that will irritate your skin and cause even more sweating. If you have been camping or on a hike for a couple of days know that you sweat less after a couple of day. You smell bad, but if you switch to pure or specific organic products you manage to clean this away without the involved toxics.

*Breathing clothes is important to stay dry. It is important to use breathing material like cotton and stay away from materials like polyester or acrylic. Cotton socks are one of the secrets here. If it is cold where you live, wool is a very good alternative. It is hotter, but it works even better than cotton to keep you dry.

*The power of your mind is amazing. Thinking about sweating, or worse, thinking about not sweating actually triggers your body to start sweating. Fear of starting to sweat will cause stress and nervousness that result in excessive sweat. Instead of focusing on your excessive sweat problem when you are walking, try to move your mind toward something completely different.

As you have probably understood reading this article, detoxing is one of the cures for excessive sweating. Detoxing is an alternative to Botox and other medical methods for curing excessive sweating. We can divide detoxing into internal and external, where external is to watch what you put into your body. Staying away from spices, cigarettes, alcohol, fat and so on. This I think is the hardest route.

A different option is external detoxing where you change the way you treat your body from an outside perspective. It may sound weird, but changing some of my soaps and washing products to some more healthy ones got me out of the problem.
