The Perfect Bride Complexion

    View:
As a Make-up artist of over twenty five years I have had the privilege of making up 100's of brides ranging from models and Royalty to real brides. Along with this I am also involved with the National Wedding Show doing bridal makeovers on stage with Caryn Franklyn. Plus I have a regular beauty column in Cosmo Bride. During all this time and all these brides I have found one thing that they all have in common that is they all want to look their best and they want their make-up to last. So I have put together my all time key products, ones I use on every bride to achieve a flawless complexion. The Complexion Perfection comprises of the following Even out and best your complexion with the Concealer Palette & Universal Yellow Powder.

Concealer Palette - Great for not only for your Wedding Day but perfect for your Honeymoon as well when your skin tone might alter. The key to a best complexion is clever use of concealer and this multi-functional yellow based palette contains 3 shades of concealer that can be custom blended to suit individual colouring all year round. Complete with a brush for exact application, the yellow shades work beautifully to counteract the blue hue down below the eyes and the redness of blemishes or thread veins. The texture has been specially formulated to effectively cover imperfections, yet is gentle enough to work neath the eyes without emphasising fine lines. An absolute must for any bride.

Universal Yellow Powder compact - Every bride wants to look radiant. This powder is truly a universal powder specially created to suit any complexion. Its unique yellow shade has been balanced to be invisible on all skin tones. Whether you're black, Asian, olive-skinned or porcelain pale, this one shade works brilliantly for you. It's appropriate for diffusing shine and giving a velvet matte finish to the complexion.

Apply with the Large Retractable Powder Brush, tapping off any excess first, and sweep over the t-zone or anywhere a professional finish off is needed. The ultra-fine triple-milled texture means the powder can be reapplied throughout the day to keep the complexion looking fresh and natural. Large Retractable Brush - use this with your Universal Yellow powder - this brush is so easy to use and because of the easy slide and close design, will stay in pristine condition.

How to: Concealer Palette: Top Tips for: Concealing dark circles 1) If you are a foundation user always apply concealer after foundation rather than before. This way you can place it exactly where you need it and you'll find you use less and it looks much more natural. 2) For optimum results, look straight ahead into a mirror, now tip your chin down and look up into the mirror. This will emphasise the dark circles. Next apply whatever shade of concealer suits your complexion, remembering not to go too light. You may find that you need to mix two or all three shades to suit your skin tone. Use either your ring finger or the brush to place the concealer exactly where you need it. 3) Now blend using the brush. When you put your head up the dark circles will have disappeared. 4) Finish with a sweep of Neath Eye & Face Brightener, just neath the eyes and along the tops of the cheekbones to really brighten and illuminate the face. If your skin tone is darker try the Universal Yellow Powder.

Hiding blemishes 1) You only need to apply a small amount of concealer in order to cover spots and blemishes effectively. Start by applying an oil free foundation or a tinted moisturiser. 2) Next, using either a small brush or cotton bud, dot concealer on to the blemish. The yellow toned concealer will neutralise any redness. three) Finish by patting gently with the Universal Yellow Powder. Cover Pigmentation / High Colouring 1) Concealer and not heavy foundation is the key to hiding irregular pigmentation, so start by applying a thin layer of your favourite foundation. 2) Now to hide any uneven colouring, mix a combination of shades from the Concealer Palette to match your natural skin tone. Apply it either with a small brush, fingers or a make-up sponge. You only need to dab the concealer over the areas that need extra coverage. 3) Finish off with a light sweep of Universal Yellow Powder.

Universal Yellow Powder Apply with a powder brush, tapping off any excess initially, and sweep over the t-zone or anywhere a professional finish is needed. The ultra-fine triple-milled texture means the powder can be reapplied throughout the day to keep the complexion looking fresh and natural.
