Tips To Go Green

    View:
1. This definitely tops the list to going green when it comes to driving, stop driving! Some of us don't have that option so what you can do is drive slower instead. A large amount of cars perform better when driving at 55 mph on the highway. You'll save the environment and save gas at the same time.

2. A tire's roll resistance alone uses 20% of your fuel consumption. To drive smart and save gas at the same time, buy quality, top of the line tires. It may cost you more out of pocket but they will perform better and save you more in the long run.

3. Lighten the weight in your car. You can start by taking out anything you don't need in your trunk. If you don't need it, get rid of it. You'll be driving smart and saving green with a light load and you save gas too!

4. Turn off the engine if you're idling for long periods of time. You burn the same amount when you restart your engine as you do idling for 1 minute. If you think you'll be idle in traffic for longer than a minute, turn off your engine. You'll save gas and money.

5. Don't be a rough driver. Driving like a maniac with sudden accelerating and hard braking uses more gas than if you didn't. This kind of driving also puts more wear and tear on your car. This will cost you more and hurt the environment.

Take advantage of the easy ways to saving the earth and helping the environment by purchasing a hybrid vehicle, if you can afford to. You know you save green by claiming your hybrid purchase on your tax returns. You also have a car that will help our environment and save you some green on gasoline. You can drive your new stylish hybrid vehicle around knowing you're doing the earth a favor by emitting less emissions which doesn't add to global warming. You also can stop less at the gas pump.

Driving smart is really just common sense. If you really need to drive, then drive smart and save green. If you can walk, ride a bike, or use public transportation, do so. You'll be helping the earth even more.
Tips To Go Green
1.Impact of clothes

The manufacture of clothing requires vast amount of power, hard worker and fabric, as well as the use of pesticides for the harvest, colorants and water for coloring, and the labor environment. When you decide to buy organic cotton instead of conventional cotton which is a chemical-dependent harvest, you are selecting an option, that is more eco-friendly by being simple on the earth and groundwater. The environmental impact of your clothes could be minimized by use of eco-friendly detergents, using frosty water in the garment washer, and line drying everytime possible. Wearing secondhand attire will reduce the number of articles going to the garbage dump.

2.In a woman's life she uses more than 4 pounds of makeup (men are not far-away)

The skin being the largest part of the body absorbs up to 60% of the articles applied on it, such as shampoos, sunscreens and soaps. Taking into account that we tend to use around 10 different products daily, the quantity adds up to a sizable amount.

Selection of green personal care articles means that products with plant-based ingredients are being used instead of those having petroleum derivatives; and the latter are prevented from entering the skin.

3.Water is a non-renewable supply

Pure water is the most important supply on Earth, and with the impending climate alteration, thus on the accessibility of enough unadulterated water is expected to be a major. When you are mindful about water, the demand on municipal treatment plants is expected to be minimized and there will be plenty of water for supply. By avoiding bottled water we can diminish greenhouse gas discharge due to shipping, power for processing plastics and the waste discarded bottles going to the garbage dump.

4.Ecological articles are human-friendly too

When you are buying green and organic products you are helping neighboring as well as international craftsmen and communities. Endorsing for fair deal articles and fair worker performances guarantees that the products are not from sweated worker. Buying products manufactured in the US implies the production processes are subject to severe labor laws.

5.To leave a better world for our kids!

I think this one is self explanatory. We require to be sure our life is sustainable so there are ample supplies available for our kids. Furthermore, we don't wish to contaminate the earth in such a way that our environment is harmful to our children's health.
