Third is comfort and convenience. When looking for home theater seats, remember that you will be sitting for a few hours and most probably without a break in between (unless you want to ruin the momentum by pausing the movie). With that said, you should also consider having space for things like food and beverages. Give the seat a try first before purchasing and see if you can adjust it to your liking. That way, you won't be complaining about an aching back after the movie.

Fourth would be the design. Although some may think it's simply minor, it may actually be a distraction for some people especially if your Berkline furniture doesn't match the d'cor. The fabric and color you should choose for the home theater seats also matter so make sure it matches the environment well.

Depending on how much time you will usually spend using the seats, you should check whether the furniture can withstand everyday use. The type of fabric also matters.
