The Broker version contains new features that will aid freight brokerage companies in running their businesses. Most importantly, detailed statistics have been added that allow users to see at a glance, exactly what their companies are generating for gross margin, gross revenue and carrier costs. The statistics pages will detail out top performing customers, carriers and dispatchers in an easy to understand display with supporting spreadsheets that are completely printable.
These same detailed stats have been integrated into the existing carrier version and will now allow carriers the same tools to manage their operations.
The brokerage version was created with increased requirements for adding carriers including a function that alerts dispatchers to expired carrier insurance, prior to booking a carrier on a load. A link for Federal Motor Carrier Association (FMCA) has been added which will allow users to quickly look up the operating authorities of any carriers in their database. Add to this the existing interchangeable features from the carrier version and the ITS Dispatch package offers real alternatives to existing server based programs. These features include detailed reports, detailed load sheets, one click invoicing, Quick Books integration, multiple user levels and the most user friendly interface on the market.
A quote from an ITS Dispatch subscriber:
“The ITS Dispatch Trucking Software has been a great success for our fleet. We currently operate a transportation company with a fleet of 10 trucks. The Dispatch Board really helps us to keep an eye on our equipment and load orders at all times. The staff at ITS Dispatch have worked closely with us and have been more than helpful with all requests. Steve Pachov, MB Transport Enterprises Inc".
ITS Dispatch has established itself as a leader in Trucking Software and more specifically, web based trucking software applications. Their products are targeted at smaller carriers with fleets of 5 to 50 trucks and any sized brokerage companies. The strength of their application lies in the web access to all data. No servers or computer upgrades are required and the Dispatch application can be accessed from anywhere that the user has an internet connection. Add to this the fact that the cost for service is based on unlimited users and is a fixed, manageable monthly rate and the application becomes a real solution.
Web Based Attendance Software
Many SMEs are coming up to the time of year they dread the most, time for financial and business planning. Good planning is absolutely fundamental to developing and building any business, and identifying new opportunities and risks, so why do so many small businesspeople struggle with it?
There are a number of reasons. First, it takes a lot of time, time that could be better be spent, so it seems, attending to the urgent day-to-day business of the company. Secondly, for many entrepreneurs, the world of accounting is boring and difficult, and is something that they would rather put off until tomorrow.
Of course, no successful business can put off planning indefinitely. The good news is, there is a new class of web-based accounting systems available now which should greatly ease the concerns of SME owners when the time for their next business plan comes around.
The idea behind web-based accounting software is that, rather than running and administering an accounting application on just one computer in the office, businesses access their accounts online. This kind of online bookkeeping software holds a number of key advantages when it comes to business planning. First, leading online accounting software products, such as Xero, are designed to be very easy to understand and use, even for non-specialists. They are able to produce reports, graphs, and summaries which allow a business owner to understand the current financial situation at a glance.
Next, web-based accounting software is a great tool for businesspeople who want to collaborate in their planning with partners, investors, board members, consultants, or accountant who are based in other cities or countries. Of course, the very fact that anyone who needs to can view the accounts online, means that planning and analysis can be done where and when time allows.
Next time the planning cycle rears its head, businesses should invest in online accounting software as a tool to facilitate collaboration, analysis, and planning.
