Sadly, the fact remains that not enough people have recognized the advantages of free blogs. Yes, they use free blogs to communicate with one another and express themselves, but few have fully realized the potential of free blogs as an advertising tool. In reality, free blogs can dramatically increase your revenue.



Perhaps it's because free blogs are 'free'. A lot of individuals still hold on to the view that you get what you pay for, and since you don't pay for free blogs they must not be good. These people believe that free blogs won't give them the serious, professional image that they're going for. That sort of thinking about free blogs is completely false.

Free blogs are one of the best tools in your advertising arsenal. Remember, you're not using your free blogs as a place to actually conduct sales. That's what your website, hosted on a reliable server, is for. Rather, your free blogs are a way to drive traffic to your main site, and it works. Free blogs are becoming increasingly popular as places to find all sorts of nifty information. And don't worry about professionalism. Sites such as Blogger offer a wide variety of blog templates, some of them just as professional as anything you could design yourself for your free blogs.

Nothing I've said can't be corroborated. Just go to Google and search any popular term. How many hits on the first two pages are free blogs? Now imagine if one of those free blogs were yours. That would equate to a massive amount of traffic. Of course, you won't have an audience to advertise to if your free blogs don't also include good content.

Many entrepreneurial bloggers are employing two main strategies on their free blogs. First, they may pay someone to write exciting, keyword-rich content that will keep visitors coming back. Secondly, they may pay writers to create articles and post blogs on other sites that contain a link back to their free blogs. You can, of course, not pay a cent and do these things yourself. Either way, you'll send traffic to your free blogs which will, in turn, send traffic to your site. And not just any traffic. Targeted traffic, which is more likely to result in increased sales. Isn't that the bottom line?
