The Lord has appointed His angels as his messengers. In different books from different religion, angels have been documented in different passages in the Bible, the Torah, and the Koran. In the old testament of the Holy Bible, Lot was visited by Angels to warn him of the Lord's judgment to his home city of Sodom and leave the place due to the sinful practices of the other people who live there. Also in the old testament of the Bible and in the Torah, when Abraham was about to strike his son, Isaac, as a sacrifice to God, an Angel suddenly appeared before him and ordered him to stop because the Lord's order to sacrifice his own son was just to test Abraham and his faith to Him.
