1. Find a reliable supplier

A reliable supplier will help you deliver what you are

selling. You need your customers to have confindence in you

and your business otherwise you will fail. Good suppliers

provide not only nice products and reasonable prices, but

also peace of mind.

2. Find a product you know you can sell.

Anyone can find a product that they like or that they know a

lot about, but the key is finding something you know you

will be able to sell online. If you are trying to sell ice

to eskimo's for example you may have little success. However

if you do your research and find a hot product people are

starting to buzz about then you are on the right track.

3. Don't be discouraged by competiton

This is something that happens to a lot of people trying to

sell online. They get discouraged over the fact that there

are millions of other people trying to make a living online.

Well, the fact is that the internet is a huge place. Even

with thousands of people carving out a living on the

internet right now, there is still more that enough room for

more. So just because your arriving to the show a little bit

late, doesn't mean you missed all the action.

4. Don't just try one method

There are hundreds, dare I say thousands, of different

methods to making money online. The fact is that while some

methods do work better than others, there is no one magic

method for everyone. While I tend to be partial to

dropshipping, it may not work for you. You should dabble a

little bit all the time. Try everything, even when you find

something that works. Don't give up what works of course,

but never shy away from a new undertaking that could be even

more profitable than the last.

5. Realize that there is no get rich quick scheme.

You will have to work to make this work. There is no magic

button or system that will make you thousands of dollars

just by clicking your mouse twice. Sure, there are plenty of

easy ways of making money out there, but they are still far

from work free. Once you commit yourself to treating this

like any other job is when you will really start to see the

income flow in.

Starting an internet business seems like an overwhelming

task. However, when you start with the fundementals, even

the most daunting of tasks can be overcome and success then

is only right around the corner.
