• Steal items from unsecured bags.
• Steal wallets from distracted shoppers' pockets.
• Distract victims before stealing items. 

 

HELPFUL TIPS!

• Always be alert to your surroundings.
• Secure your valuables and check on them every now and then to make sure. Don't leave them lying around on tables, shopping trolleys, fitting rooms or anywhere else. 
• Get a companion to help you look after your belongings if you know that you're going to have your hands full with shopping.
• Do not show off your money.
• Do not adorn yourself or your children with jewellery.

If you are not careful, the money that you saved from great discounts will be going straight into the pockets of criminals to spend!
