Bytton provides support for any type of terminal device (connected by wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi) offering immediate broadband access via 3G (or 2G) wireless and/or DSL wireline services to the Internet and via secure built-in VPN facilities to corporate applications. In other words, a secure completely private “hotspot" in a box.

ISDN back-up is also available.

Bytton enables a whole team to become fully operational immediately without any separate LAN Server software or hardware. For voice communications, SIP compliant phones are supported, as are proprietary IP phones (subject to verification with Topex). A separate IP PABX can be added to the local network or provided as a remote hosted service.

The product range includes a public hot spot model for deployment by Service Providers, including full remote management for pre-pay customers.

Innovative private communications applications include the establishment of temporary facilities to support:
